Man charged following Pangbourne assault




Victim was left with a black eye and swollen nose after suffering attack while sat in his car

POLICE have charged a Reading man in his forties with assault following an incident in a supermarket car park in Pangbourne.

The man has been charged with one count of common assault, in connection with an incident in the car park behind the Co-op store in High Street on Wednesday, January 11.

The victim, a 61-year-old man, was punched in the face while sat in his car, suffering a black eye and a swollen nose.

The man charged has been released on bail to attend Reading Magistrates' Court on March 6.
