Andover man to appear in court
A MAN has been charged with four counts of death by dangerous driving following a multi-vehicle collision on the A34 last month.
Four members of the same family were killed on the stretch of road between the West Ilsley and Ridgeway junctions on August 10.
Tracy Houghton, aged 45, and her two sons Ethan and Josh, aged 13 and 11, and her partner's daughter Aimee Goldsmith, 11, were killed in the eight vehicle crash on the northbound carriageway.
Tomasz Kroker, aged 30, from Andover, was charged yesterday (Thursday) with four counts of death by dangerous driving and one count of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He has been remanded in custody and is to appear before Reading Crown Court on Monday, October 10.
