Man charged in connection with Newbury petrol station arson

A 20-year-old Newbury man has been charged in connection with an arson at a petrol station in Newbury.
The man was charged with one count of arson with intent /reckless as to whether life was endangered and one count of non-dwelling burglary.
The charges relate to an incident at Tesco in Pinchington Lane, Newbury, on January 5, in which car foam and a car spray were stolen and where an arson took place in the front lobby of the store.
Hillier was bailed to appear at Newbury Magistrates’ Court on Thursday February 20.
