Man charged with assault and criminal damage in Thatcham

The 20-year-old was charged with two counts of common assault and four counts of criminal damage following a number of incidents in the Northfield Road area just before midnight on September 29.
Two panes of glass were smashed at the Tesco store and the wing mirror of a Vauxhall Corsa was damaged.
The inside of a police car was also damaged.
He has been remanded in custody and was due to appear at Reading Magistrate's Court yesterday (Tuesday).
