A MAN has been sent to the crown court charged with being a drug dealer.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, November 2, was Danny Heap.
The 30-year-old, of St George's Avenue, Newbury, is accused of possessing the Class A-controlled drug cocaine in Newbury on Friday, April 22.
In addition, he is accused of possessing the Class B-controlled drug cannabis with intent to supply it to others on the same occasion.
District judge Samuel Goozee sent both matters to Reading Crown Court to be dealt with by a judge and, in the event of a trial, by a jury, on a date to be fixed.
Mr Heap was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
