Man charged with drug, driving and other offences following A34 incident in Newbury




A man has been charged with a number of offences following a road incident in Newbury yesterday (January 13).

A vehicle was stopped on the carriageway of the A34 at Wash Common at 11.20pm.

Erjon Selivrda, 29, of no fixed abode, has since been charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis, endangering other road users, assault with intent to resist arrest, money laundering, possession of criminal property, driving at excess speed, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

The charges relate to this incident on the A34 southbound between Speen and Wash Common.

Erjon Selivrda was charged today (January 14) with the multiple offences and was remanded in custody to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on tomorrow (Saturday, January 15).
