Newbury man Keith Thorogood charged with public order offence
A MAN has been excluded from a housing estate pending a court case.
Reading magistrates held a preliminary hearing into the case against Keith Thorogood on Wednesday, December 11.
The 47-year-old, of Hambridge Road, Newbury, is charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards Dave Felton.
Next, he is accused of threatening to kill Mr Felton and, finally, he is charged with causing criminal damage to a home in Dickens Walk.
All the offences were said to have been committed on The Nightingales estate in Greenham on Sunday, November 10.
Magistrates adjourned the case until a later date, when Mr Thorogood will be expected to attend and to enter a plea to each charge.
He was meanwhile released on bail on condition he does not enter The Nightingales estate.
