Man charged with racially aggravated public order offence in Newbury




Offence relates to incident at St John's post office

A 41-year-old man has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence in Newbury.

Philip Dellman of Albany Rd, Andover, Hants was arrested on December 16 and charged the following day with the offence.

He has been bailed to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on December 31.

The charge relates to an incident on December 16 at 6.30pm when a man walked into St Johns Post Office in Andover Road, Newbury and racially abused a number of people in the store.
