Mark Andrews from Thatcham assaulted woman

A MAN has been sentenced for a domestic violence assault.

Mark Andrews appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 1.

The 62-year-old, of Masefield Road, Thatcham, admitted assaulting Ellen Andrews by beating her in Thatcham on January 26.

Andrews, who was legally represented by Sidra Quadri, was fined £800.

District Judge Samuel Goozee also ordered him to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £320.
