Thatcham man Russell Green convicted of assaulting young person
A MAN who denied assaulting a young person has been convicted.
Russell Green appeared for trial at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, March 21.
The 41-year-old, of Agricola Way, Thatcham, had denied assaulting a young person, who can not be identified for legal reasons, in Thatcham on a specific date in February last year.
Magistrates made him subject to a 12-month community order with a requirement that he complete 150 hours of unpaid community work.
In addition, Mr Green, who was legally represented at the hearing by Adonis Daniel, was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £114.
Finally, he was ordered to pay his victim £100 in compensation.
