Reading Magistrates' Court: Newbury man convicted of attacking woman

A NEWBURY man who denied attacking a woman has been convicted of the offence.
Joshua Leishman had pleaded not guilty to assaulting by beating her in Newbury on June 19 last year.
But on Tuesday, June 1, he was convicted following a trial at Reading Magistrates' Court.
The 27-year-old, who lives at Bodin Gardens, was fined £120.
In addition, he was ordered to pay £150 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £34.
