Reading Magistrates' Court: Newbury man on pub knife charge




A MAN has been convicted of a knife offence in a Newbury pub.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 16, was Gary Hutchins, who also uses the surname Wrightson, according to court documents.

The 53-year-old, of Ewing Way, Newbury, admitted unlawfully possessing a steak knife in The Plough on the Green at The Folly on Sunday, May 22.

Magistrates ordered pre-sentence reports to be prepared on an 'all options' basis, including custody.

Mr Hutchins was meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
