Reading Magistrates' Court: Newbury man convicted of 'theft by finding'




A MAN who made off with clothing belonging to another person has been convicted of theft.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, November 1, was Jason Byford.

The 27-year-old, of Talbot Close, Newbury, admitted a charge of theft by finding after he stole £140 worth of clothing belonging to Alexandra Neale in Theale on Sunday, August 27.

Magistrates ordered pre-sentence reports.

Mr Byford, who was legally represented by Joanne Benn, was meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
