Man cut free from car after multi-vehicle collision on M4

According to Phil Knight, the watch manager of White Watch at Newbury Fire Station, three fire engines were called at 12.30am to between junctions 14 and 13 eastbound, including one from Newbury, another from Hungerford and a third from Lambourn.
A man was trapped in a BMW for half an hour, before being cut out of the vehicle by firefighters and taken to hospital.
Several people were treated by paramedics at the scene.
Police closed the motorway during the incident,
Fire crews left the scene after about one hour.
