Reading Magistrates’ Court: Newbury man denies assault

A MAN is to go on trial accused of assault and damaging property.

Aaron Wallin appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, August 9.

The 30-year-old, of Mabel Luke Place, off Mill Lane in Newbury, is accused of assaulting Gary Muss by beating him.

He is further charged with causing criminal damage to a window belonging to Mr Muss.

Both offences were said to have been committed in Newbury on Thursday, January 19.

District judge Kathryn Verghis told Mr Wallin the case could proceed no further that day and it would be adjourned for a trial to be arranged.

Mr Wallin, who was legally represented at the hearing by Mason Waker was meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
