Reading Magistrates’ Court: Newbury man denies drinking while in charge of car
A MAN is to go on trial for being in charge of a vehicle after drinking too much.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 30, was Sebastian Kazmirczak.
The 40-year-old, of Orchadene, Newbury, is accused of being in charge of a silver Toyota on Skyllings, Newbury, on Wednesdayday, May 10, after drinking more than the legal limit.
Tests are said to have shown 82mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system – more than twice the legal limit of 35mcg.
Mr Kazmirczak, who was legally represented by Gianpaolo Damiani, spoke only to confirm his details and to plead not guilty to the single charge.
He was told the case could proceed no further that day and magistrates adjourned it for a trial to be arranged.
Mr Kazmirczak was meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
