LEARN MOREA MOTORIST has denied driving after taking cocaine.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, January 12, was James Green.
The 34-year-old, who lives at Orchard Court, off Turners Drive, Thatcham, was accused of driving a Ford Transit Connect on the M4 on Saturday, May 22 last year, when the proportion of a cocaine metabolite in his system exceeded the specified limit.
Mr Green, who was legally represented at the preliminary hearing, spoke only to confirm his details and to deny the single charge.
Magistrates said matters could proceed no further that day and adjourned the case while a trial is arranged for a date in May.
Mr Green was meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
