Reading Magistrates' Court: Hungerford motorist denies driving while disqualified

A MAN is set to go on trial accused of flouting a driving ban.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Friday, January 13, was Earl Jesse.

The 46-year-old, of Kennet Way, Hungerford, is charged with driving a Range Rover on the M3 near Winchester on November 24 last year while disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence.

Mr Jesse, who was legally represented by Gianpaolo Damiani, spoke only to confirm his details and to plead not guilty to the single charge.

He was told the case could proceed no further that day and that it would be adjourned for a trial to be arranged.

Mr Jesse was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
