A MAN is to go on trial charged with committing a serious assault on a woman.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Thursday, November 3, was George White.
The 24-year-old, of Spackman Close, Thatcham, pleaded not guilty to assaulting Hannah Netley, thereby causing her actual bodily harm in Thatcham.
Mr White, who was legally represented by Paul Cantrill, spoke only to confirm his details and to deny committing the offence.
He was told the case could proceed no further and it was adjourned for a trial to be arranged.
Mr White was meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
