A MAN has been accused of committing a sexual assault.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, October 26, was Vipin Agarwal.
The 48-year-old, who lives in an apartment in Mayflower House, Rockingham Road, Newbury, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Newbury on Saturday, March 12.
Mr Agarwal, who was legally represented by Gianpaolo Damiani, spoke only to confirm his details and to plead not guilty to the single charge.
District judge Kathryn Verghis told him the case could proceed no further that day and she adjourned it for a trial to be arranged.
Mr Agarwal was meanwhile released on bail with conditions.
