Reading Magistrates’ Court: Thatcham man denies threatening behaviour




A MAN is set to go on trial for threatening behaviour.

Ashleigh Pegg appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, July 5.

The 32-year-old, of Beancroft Road, Thatcham, is accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause Leo Gibbs harassment, alarm or distress in Thatcham on Thursday, June 1.

Mr Pegg, who was legally represented at the hearing by Mason Waker, spoke only to confirm his details and to plead not guilty to the single charge.

District judge Samuel Goozee told him the case could proceed no further that day and adjourned it for a trial to be arranged.

Mr Pegg was meanwhile granted bail with conditions.
