Man dies in collision near Kintbury




POLICE have appealed for witnesses to a fatal accident near Kintbury this morning (Saturday).
A pedestrian died in the collision in the early hours.
At about 2.45am, a 28-year-old man from Kent was struck by a grey BMW on the A4 Bath Road, near Kintbury. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim had been a passenger in a black Ford Focus but left the car after a disagreement with the other occupants. He was then struck by the BMW.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw a black Ford Focus at the location of the incident or a grey BMW travelling towards Newbury.
