Man exposes himself to children in Greenham




Thames Valley Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened last Wednesday

A MAN exposed himself in front of two children in Greenham last Wednesday (27).

The incident happened between 10.25am and 10.45am when the victims, a 10-year-old boy and a seven-year-old girl, were walking along Greyberry Copse Road.

Just before the incident, the victims saw a man looking into the woods and they thought he had lost something.

When the man turned around, he exposed himself before running away up Pigeons Farm Road towards the skate park and Greenham Common.

The offender is between 20 and 40-years-old, about 5ft 6ins, average build, clean shaven, with short, dark, balding hair.

He was wearing a grey suit jacket with single buttons, trousers, and black shoes.

Pc Nicky Alexander, from Newbury police station, said: “This is a disturbing and shameful act targeting vulnerable children who were having a peaceful walk in the area.

“I am appealing for anyone who may have noticed a suspicious man fitting the above description in the area at the time of the incident to contact police.”
