Reading Magistrates' Court: Calcot man faces multiple shoplifting charges




A MAN has been accused of repeatedly stealing meat and alcohol from shops.

On Tuesday, July 5 Reading magistrates held a preliminary hearing into the case against Robert Davis.

The 42-year-old, of Hawley Close, Calcot, is accused of stealing from shops and supermarkets in Reading on various dates in September and October last year.

The six offences were said to have happened in various Reading stores in September and October last year.

Mr Davis was granted conditional bail until the next hearing, when he will be expected to enter pleas to the charges.
