Reading Magistrates' Court: Thatcham man guilty of racist offence

A MAN has been convicted of a racially aggravated offence.

In the dock at Readung Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, July 6, was Nathan Heap.

The 30-year-old, of Whitaker Court, Thatcham, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour designed to cause Jessica Mugford harassment, alarm or distress which was racially aggravated at Craven Road, Reading, on Monday, May 16.

Magistrates adjourned for pre-sentence reports to be prepared.

Mr Heap, who was defended by Mike Davis, was meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
