Wiltshire Police appeal for witnesses to Baydon collision




A man in his 60s had to be airlifted to hospital last week after being involved in a serious road traffic collision in Baydon.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident that occurred on Baydon Road at around 3.30pm on Monday, March 21.

The two-vehicle collision involved a blue BMW and a red Renault Laguna.

The Renault driver, who is in his 60s, was airlifted to Southampton Hospital with serious injuries following the incident.

The driver of the BMW, a man in his 30s, was taken to Great Western Hospital in Swindon with a minor head injury.

Wiltshire Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw either vehicle shortly beforehand, to call their collision investigation unit on 01225 694597 and quote log number 192 of 21/03.
