Man in serious condition after road traffic accident
A man remains in hospital following an accident on the B4009, near Hermitage, last night (Sunday)
A MAN is in a serious condition in hospital after a road traffic accident near Hermitage last night (Sunday).
Thames Valley Police were called to the B4009 between Hampstead Norreys and Hermitage shortly before 9pm after receiving reports of a red Honda Accord leaving the B4009.
The driver, who was the only occupant of the car, was cut out by the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service and was conveyed by ambulance to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, with head injuries.
Police have reported this morning (Monday) that the driver remains at the hospital in a serious condition.
