Man in serious condition following 'medical emergency' on A4

A man is in a serious condition in hospital following a 'medical emergency' on the A4 this afternoon (Sat).
A spokeswoman for the South Central Ambulance Service, Catherine Morrow, said that one ambulance crew, a rapid response car and an air ambulance were all sent to the scene near to the Newbury Manor Hotel at 1.09pm.
The man was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital by land ambulance.
The air ambulance took off with no one on board.
