Man in serious condition following Thatcham A4 incident

South Central Ambulance spokeswoman Catherine Morrow confirmed at 9.50am that the man was in a life threatening condition.
Thames Valley Police were alerted to an incident at around 8.50am.
The road had been closed at the roundabout at Gables Way, but police are now (9.30am) in the process of removing the closure.
One patient has been taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading.
Only one vehicle was involved. The cause of the incident is not yet known.
An air ambulance was also at the scene.
