Reading Magistrates’ Court: Calcot man on robbery charge




A MAN has been sent to the crown court on a charge of robbery.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, June 7, was Lewis Dearlove.

The 24-year-old, of Hatfield Court, Calcot, is accused of robbing Oliver Ralph of a Gucci bag and its contents in Bracknell, Berkshire, on February 6 last year.

Mr Dearlove, who was legally represented by Joanna Benn, was told the case was being sent to Reading Crown Court to be dealt with by a judge and, in the event of a trial, by a jury.

District judge Samuel Goozee meanwhile released Mr Dearlove on unconditional bail.
