Reading Magistrates' Court: Mortimer man made subject to domestic violence protection order

POLICE have successfully applied for a domestic violence protection order to protect a woman.

The application was made at Reading Magistrates' Court on Monday, January 31 in respect of Christopher Marshall.

The 50-year-old, of Heathfield in Mortimer, was not present at the hearing.

The order states that Mr Marshall must not contact Marilyn Unsworth, either directly or indirectly.

Furthermore, he must not behave in an aggressive, threatening or abusive manner towards her.

The order lasts for 28 days.
