Man left with life threatening injuries after being hit by car in Cold Ash
The incident occurred shortly after 5pm directly outside St Mark’s Primary School on Cold Ash Hill.
A spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police, Rhianne Pope confirmed that the man was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with injuries thought to be life threatening, but said today (Monday) that he was now in a stable condition.
“It looks like he has run into the road,” added Ms Pope. “He was found lying in the road with a head injury.”
As a result, Cold Ash Hill was closed for three hours between 5:10pm and 8:10pm while the man was treated by paramedics and the vehicle was recovered from the scene.
