Thatcham man, Rich Johnson, locked up on ‘revenge porn’ charge

A MAN was remanded in custody after admitting a ‘revenge porn’ offence.

Rich Johnson appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, June 11.

The 36-year-old, of Signals Close, Thatcham, admitted threatening to share a photograph or film of a woman in an intimate state in Thatcham on a specific date.

Johnson, who was legally represented by Fayyaz Alam, was denied bail and was remanded in custody.

District judge Davinder Sandhu said this was for “inquiries to be made or of determining the most suitable method of determining the case”.
