The 54-year-old, of Digby Road, Newbury, admitted pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of Amie Heselton-Chambers by sending her multiple text messages and voicemails that included lewd comments, threats and insults, in Newbury between April 1 and August 13 last year.

He further admitted committing the same offence in respect of Debbie James by sending her harassing voicemails and texts in Newbury between August 10 and August 12 last year.

Mr Clements, who was legally represented at the hearing by Elisabeth Bell, was told the case would be adjourned to be sentenced at a later date.

He was meanwhile released on bail with conditions.
