Reading Magistrates' Court makes order to protect woman from Newbury man

A MAN has been made subject to a Domestic Violence Protection Order to safeguard a woman from him.
On Friday, September 16, Reading magistrates made the order in respect of 49-year-old Andrew Paul Hale of Garland Court, off Berkeley Road, Newbury.
Mr Hale was not in court to challenge the successful application made by Thames Valley Police in accordance with section 27 of the Crime and Security Act 2010.
The order made for the protection of Donna Rennie.
Under its terms Mr Hale is forbidden from molesting, contacting, threatening or behaving in an abusive manner towards Ms Rennie, or from going within 200m of a specified address in Newbury.
The order lasts for 28 days.
