Dominic Jofirisi from Newbury pleads not guilty to assault

A MAN is to go on trial for assault.

Dominic Jofirisi appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 12.

The 27-year-old, of Berkeley Road, Newbury, is accused of assaulting Daniel Jones by beating him in Newbury on Thursday, August 12.

Mr Jofirisi, who was legally represented by Robert Jacques, spoke only to confirm his details and to plead not guilty to the single charge.

He was told the case could proceed no further that day and would be adjourned for a trial to be arranged.

Mr Jofirisi was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
