Man questioned in Newbury in connection with three Northern Ireland murders

The man was arrested today (Tues) in southern England as part of the investigation into the murders of Gary Convie and Eamon Fox in May 1994 and Sean McParland in February of the same year.
Mr McParland, aged 55, was shot in north Belfast on February 17 while he was babysitting and died a week later.
Gary Convie, aged 24, and Eamon Fox, aged 44, were sitting in their car at a building site in North Queen Street on May 17 when a gunman opened fire with a submachine gun.
The Northern Ireland Police Service has not confirmed the exact location of the arrest.
The arrest forms part of Operation Stafford, an investigation into a series of murders and other serious crimes by the Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) in north Belfast.
