Man robbed in Newbury park
The victim was robbed and assaulted during the incident
THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a robbery in Victoria Park, Newbury, on Sunday morning
Sometime between 12.30am and 1am, a 56-year-old man was walking through the park when he was robbed and assaulted.
The offenders stole his watch and wedding ring.
The victim was taken to Basingstoke Hospital where he was treated for serious bruises to the upper part of his body and a broken forearm.
The offenders are four white men aged between 18 and 20 years old. Two were scruffy in their appearance.
