Tidmarsh man Dane Gale’s £317 court bill for being drunk in Newbury




A MAN arrested for being a drunken nuisance in a town centre found it was an expensive outing.

Dane Gale appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 12.

The 38-year-old, of Lancaster Close, off Tidmarsh Lane in Tidmarsh, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Newbury Market Place on October 27.

Gale was fined £166.

In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £66 – a total of £317.
