Reading Magistrates' Court: Newbury man sent to crown court on drug dealing charges
A MAN has appeared in court charged with dealing in cocaine and cannabis.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Monday, December 12 last year was Aaron Allen.
The 34-year-old, of Howarth Court, Newbury, is accused of possessing 17.566g of the Class A-controlled drug cocaine.
He is further charged with possessing 97.4g of the Class B-controlled drug cannabis, also with intent to supply it.
Both offences are said to have been committed in Newbury on December 30, 2021.
Mr Allen, who was legally represented by Gianpaolo Damiani, was told the case could proceed no further that day.
Magistrates sent both matters to be dealt with by a judge and, in the case of a trial, by a jury at Reading Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
Mr Allen was meanwhile released on conditional bail.
