A MAN has appeared in court accused of seriously wounding one woman and attacking another.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 7, was Callum Heneghan.
The 23-year-old, of Cresswell Road, Newbury, is charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on Alicia Null in Berkshire on December 18 last year.
He is further accused of assaulting Laura Fayers-Hallin by beating her on the same occasion.
The court ruled the case could proceed no further that day and sent both matters to Reading Crown Court to be dealt with by a judge and, in the event of a trial, by a jury.
Mr Heneghan was meanwhile released on bail with conditions.
