Thatcham man Harry Gillespie damaged Hungerford home

A MAN has been convicted of causing criminal damage to a home.

Harry Gillespie appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, August 28.

The 28-year-old, of Sowerbie Street, Thatcham, admitted causing £532 worth of damage to a window in Hungerford, belonging to Philippa Ross, on September 29 last year.

Magistrates ordered Gillespie to compensate Ms Ross in full in lieu of an otherwise statutory victim services surcharge.

No order was made for costs.
