Cold Ash man Luke Adams sentenced for non-molestation order breach
A MAN has been sentenced for breaching a non-molestation order.
Luke Adams appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Monday, April 28.
The 37-year-old, of Cold Ash Hill, Cold Ash, had previously admitted breaching a non-molestation order by making numerous phone calls to Laura Adams from a withheld number in Newbury between December 26, 2023.
At the previous hearing district judge Davinder Sandhu ordered pre-sentence reports.
She stipulated these should be prepared on an ‘all options’ basis, including custody.
However, after reading the reports at Monday’s sentencing hearing, district judge Samuel Goozee made Adams subject to an 18-month conditional discharge.
In addition, he was ordered to pay a statutory victim services surcharge, plus £85 costs.
