Man in fifties involved in serious injury collision on A34 near Chieveley




A man in his fifties has been taken to hospital after being involved in a serious injury road traffic collision on the A34 near Chieveley.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for witnesses.

A black Range Rover and a red Nissan Micra were involved in a collision on the A34 northbound just after the M4 junction at Chieveley at around 6.30pm yesterday (Thursday).

The driver of the Range Rover, the man in his fifties, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

No arrests have been made.

Senior investigating officer of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit Sergeant Gary Doughty said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“We’d also ask anyone with dash-cams to check the footage in case they may have captured the incident or the moments before it.
