Man stabbed in flat in Newbury




Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred at flat in Newbury on Monday evening

POLICE are investigating a stabbing that occurred at a flat in Kyftle Court, St Michael's Road, Newbury on Monday evening.

Police were called to the flat at about 9.30pm and found a man with cuts to his hands and face.

Police spokeswoman Lucy Billen said: “Around three black men broke into the property. A twenty-nine-year-old resident was cut to the face and hands.”

The police helicopter, which had already been deployed was sent to the scene, but was unable to locate any of the suspects.

So far, no-one has been arrested, but police are investigating the incident.
