Calcot shoplifter Frederick Walsh stole confectionery worth almost £100

A SWEET-toothed thief stole almost £100 worth of confectionery.
Frederick Walsh appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, March 27.
The 51-year-old, of Burbridge Road, Calcot, admitted stealing confectionery worth £92.40 from the Co-op in Theale on Saturday, March 9.
Magistrates made Mr Walsh, who was legally represented by Jeremy Yuille, subject to a 12-month conditional discharge.
In addition, they ordered him to pay £42 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £26.
