Man suffers knifepoint robbery and attack in Newbury
The victim was sat in the fields at Stroud Green at about 3.15pm when he heard a noise and saw three men approaching.
He was punched in the face by one of the group who demanded he hand over his wallet and mobile telephone.
Another man threatened him with a five-inch blade which had a guard and a tribal pattern.
The victim handed over his phone and the men took his money before throwing the wallet back at him.
He was badly shaken and suffered marks to his face but did not require hospital treatment.
All the offenders are described as between 18 and 19-years old, white, and wore scarves and hoods.
The investigating officer, detective constable Jason Watkins, of the Priority Crime Team based at Newbury, has appealed for witnesses to come forward.
