Man viciously beaten and robbed in Newbury
19-year-old left bruised following attack
A MAN was threatened with a knife and left bruised during a robbery in Newbury.
The 19-year-old was chased by three men at Enborne Road at the junction of Buckingham Road.
He was punched several times in the face and then threatened with a vegetable knife.
After the beating, which resulted in bruising around his eyes, the man was robbed of his bank card, driving licence, iPhone 5c and a small amount of cash.
The robbery occurred at 9.15pm on Friday, May 20.
The assailants are described as three 17 to 18 year-old black males all wearing matching black body warmers, black tracksuit bottoms and Nike trainers.
They had hoods up over their heads and one of them had a tidy thin beard.
