The 66-year-old, of Priory Avenue, Hungerford, admitted possessing cannabis resin, a Class B controlled drug, in Hungerford on May 6 last year.

He also has a previous conviction for failing to supply a specimen for analysis when suspected of having committed a motoring offence.

Ingham was made subject to a six-month conditional discharge and magistrates ordered the resin to be forfeited and destroyed.

No order was made for costs but he was required to pay a statutory victim services surcharge.
