Reading Magistrates’ Court: Newbury man was drunk and disorderly in pub garden




A MAN has been sentenced for being drunk and disorderly in a town centre pub.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 13, was Jamie Mellett.

The 26-year-old, of Woodlark Road, Newbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in the rear garden of The Hatchett Inn, Market Place, Newbury, on Friday, May 26.

Mr Mellett, who represented himself in court, was fined £133.

In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £53.
